God Sends Angels
Exodus 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before you, to keep you in the way, and to bring you to the place which I have prepared.
God sends Angels to keep us safe and on the straight path to eternal life is what the Bible says. Do you believe in angels? Well, let me ask you this…have you ever been driving down the road, but not really paying attention to what you are doing – then, kinda “snap out of it” just in time to keep from having a wreck? Or maybe… almost stepping into a hole, but noticing it just before breaking your leg?
Or maybe… you were in a situation where you were tempted to do something that you knew was wrong - and it felt like something or someone was telling you not to do it? Yea? Me too!
Maybe it was one of God’s angels or maybe it was the Holy Spirit, I don’t know, but I do believe it comes from our Father in heaven. He is always with us… watching over us, gently guiding. Sure we still have our free will and don’t always follow His leading - ending up in a mess. But He is always there, watching and waiting for His prodigal to come home.
Father, Thank You so very much for never leaving us even when we ignore Your leadings. And we also Thank You for forgiving us and cleaning up the messes we make when we don’t follow Your guidance. We are so blessed to have a Father who loves us so. In Jesus’ name. Amen
