King Of Kings

Revelation 19:16 And He (Jesus) has on His garment, and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

“I am loved by a king…it makes my heart want to sing.” I woke up to that song this morning and found myself singing it all morning. And as usual, it started me to thinking.

Is this not the dream of every little girl? To have her prince come along, riding on his white horse, sweeping her off of her feet and riding off into the sunset. Then when he becomes king and they marry, she becomes a queen because she is loved by a king. I guess maybe little boys dream of being that prince, but I don’t know for sure.

Anyway, to be loved by a king is really something. But we are not just loved by a king or any king, not even King Solomon or King David, but we are loved by the King of Kings! Imagine The King of Kings! And He loves me and He loves you, He Loves Us unconditionally!

Father, We humbly thank You for the gift of Your Son, The King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We also thank You for Your unconditional love and mercy. In Jesus’ name. Amen
