Our God Is An Awesome God!

Our God is an awesome God! I was sitting on the patio this morning and I was just looking at the beauty of the mountains (I’m from East Tennessee) with the trees peaking out above the fog rolling down the sides. The trees are so green and the flowers are every color you can think of. I was awestruck by the obvious thought that went into the creation of such beauty. I mean, think about it… everything in our world was created – put together by the hand of our Father just for us.

Isn’t it amazing how everything just fits together, just the right way. I mean, just look at our bodies, they are really perfect - we have two arms for hugging, two eyes & ears for enjoying others and thankfully just one mouth for making mistakes. And you know… I have made many mistakes with this big one that I have ;>) It is really a wonder that I can walk with my foot stuck in my mouth so much of the time. But I can also use it to praise the Lord, which is one of my favorite things to do.

God is so awesome and wonderful, I wish I knew more words so I could adequately describe the awe I feel when I am thinking about my Father in heaven. To think about how strong He is that He can move mountains with a thought, but then how gentle He is in making a butterfly. It boggles the mind. Then think about His huge and unconditional love…there just aren’t words in our language to describe Almighty God

Father, thank You so much for being You. You are all there is, the Alpha and Omega, the Great I AM and we humbly praise Your name. In Jesus’ name. Amen
