The Seven Spirits of Jehovah

Revelation 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia. Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming; and from the seven spirits which are before His throne;

I often wondered what it meant by the seven spirits which are before His throne. I had asked several people and they said they would get back to me… but never did. Like I have said before, every time you read the Bible, you see something new. I was reading in Isaiah and found the answer to my question!

Isaiah 11:2 And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.
"The seven spirits which are before His throne."

Isn’t that interesting, I had read it a dozen times but never saw it before. Sometimes I wonder if God doesn’t send Philip’s spirit to us to point out what He wants us to see, who knows? But I do know that this is what Gods wants us to be filled with; The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jehovah, the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of understanding, the Spirit of counsel, the Spirit of might, the Spirit of knowledge and the Spirit of the fear of Jehovah.

Father, We humbly thank You for Your Seven Spirits and ask that You help us to always have Your Seven Spirits in our hearts. We also ask that You help us to share Your Word with all that we meet. In Jesus’ name. Amen
