Who Do You Trust?

Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

You know how we all get emails from our friends and family. Well I got one the other day and it was very interesting. It was talking about how Psalms is in the center of the bible and Psalms 118:8 is in the very center verse. Then it asked the question:
“Now isn't that odd how this worked out (or was God in the center of it)?”

It started me thinking, God is really amazing, He thought of every single little detail possible. He created the universe and is the center of it. Not only is He the author of and the central figure in the Bible but He is even in the very center of it too. Is He the center of your life? Do you trust Him above all others?

Have you ever trusted someone and they let you down? I am sure that it has happened to all of us, more then a few times in this life.
I am a very trusting person, I trust everyone, until I’m proven wrong and then usually trust them again. I have trusted many people in my life and a lot of them have let me down, but I have let a lot of other people down as well. I know now that the only one that we can really trust completely and unconditionally is God. What about you?

Father, We come to You as the unworthy sinners that we are, knowing that we can turn to You at any time and trust You completely for all of our needs. Thank You for being there for us. In Jesus’ name. Amen
