WWJD

You know that there was a big push a while back where everyone was wearing WWJD bracelets and t-shirts. I just wonder if they really gave much of a thought about what it really meant.

What would Jesus do?

I have tried to incorporate WWJD into my life, but often I would forget. And you know what; things just did not go as smoothly as they could. You suppose it could be cause I left Jesus out? I think so!

Not long ago my daughter called me in a panic and said “I have an urgent prayer request” “They have locked down the elementary school because there is a man with a gun”. Of course, I prayed, but as a grandmother with 2 of my grandsons in that school, I was worried. I did not do as Jesus and give it to The Father. I, like most of us, could not let God have all of it, I had to hang on to some of it, just so I could worry. Fortunately the police took the man into custody quickly and no one was hurt. God took care of it even though I did not give Him enough credit.

Father, please help us to do as Jesus would and have the faith it takes to give everything to You. Forgive us when we think we know best and leave You out. You are the Only and Best for us Father and we thank You for Your love, the leadings of Jesus and Your forgiveness. In Jesus’ name. Amen
