When I Was Little
Job 36:22 Behold, God is exalted in His power; who teaches like Him?
When I was little we did not have computers or video games, there were only 3 (fuzzy) channels on TV and and it was in Black & White. Family time was really big ‘back-in-the-day’, as my son says. Many summer evenings, when my cousins and I would sit at our grandmother’s knee, she would tell us Bible stories. I loved to hear her tell stories because she could really make them come alive. My favorite was “David and Goliath”. I always thought it was pretty cool that a kid could beat a giant.
Now that I am older (a lot older) I realize that there is so much more to the story than a kid beating a giant. The Lord God Almighty was with David and He is the one who delivered Goliath unto David. David did not do it by himself. David found favor with his Heavenly Father and He loved him. The way I see it, we can do anything, if it is the will of God.
When I started feeling lead to start this website, I said “Lord I am no good at the computer, I am not a Bible scholar and I don’t see what I can do by myself”. But He just kept nudging me and poking at me until I finally gave in. I am not at all sure if I am doing anything near what He wants...but I am giving it my best shot. May His will be done.
Have you ever thought about starting your own website or your own internet business? I'll tell you, if a computer dummy like me can do it, anyone can. I don’t know a thing about html or bites or algorithms but I have had several comments about how professional my website is. It is all due to Site Build It.
